NSS UNIT  :340

Total Strength

50

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of our college was started in October 2023 with 50 volunteers, including 18 male and 32 female students. From the beginning, our volunteers conducted many important activities for the welfare of society. Some of the major programs organized by the unit include Annopaharam (food distribution program to destitute), blood donation camps, agricultural activities and the construction of Sneharaam. One of the most notable achievements of our NSS unit was successfully hosting the NSS State Camp, even though the unit had no previous legacy. This remarkable achievement brought great recognition to our unit, and it was appreciated at the State Award Function 2024. Another important achievement came in 2025, when one of our NSS volunteers was selected to participate in the State Republic Day (RD) Parade. This was a great honor for our college and the NSS unit. Within a short period of time, our NSS unit has become a strong platform for service, leadership, and community development.

Annopaharam

NSS Volunteers distributed food to the destitute residents of Snehabhavan, an organization dedicated to providing shelter and care to elderly mothers. In addition to the food distribution, the volunteers spent quality time with the mothers residing at Snehabhavan, offering emotional support and spreading joy.
